Hi everyone! Today is the day those of us participating in the A-Z Blogging Challenge can reveal our themes. My sweet little Phoebe pretty much gave it away yesterday. I am going to crochet a cat toy ( 4 hats too) each day of the challenge. At the end of the month, I will have a giveaway and 2 lucky winners will split everything.
I just finished a wonderful book called Let Your Spirit Guides Speak: A Simple Guide for a Life of Purpose, Abundance and Joy by Debra Engle Landwehr. The author explains how we all have spirit guides with us throughout life and all we need to do is ask them for help. She refers to them as spirit guides, but I think of them as guardian angels as I am sure many do. There are meditation exercises to help us open up to them. I have never heard a message from mine, but I know they have saved me from countless accidents and bad choices.
Erin the Cat Princess was the only one that figured out what kind of car Sammy is making for the cardwood derby- good job Princess Erin!
Hi everyone! I know you are all waiting to find out all the information I got while I was spying. First off, I found this. Sammy has been getting his car ready for The Cat Scout’s Cardwood Derby. He says his car is top secret, but I know this goes inside of it. I snapped a photo of him working on his car too. Can anyone figure out what kind of car he is building?
And I found this stuff :
I think it has to do with the April A-Z challenge because I found an apple, banana, cork toy, donut, Easter egg, fortune cookie, goldfish and come other stuff too. The big theme reveal is tomorrow, but I think her theme is crochet.
Now, I need all your help to solve a mystery. Where are my shades? I haven’t seen anyone with them lately.
Happy Wednesday everyone! Today is Y day or the a-z blogging challenge. Y is for YARN- I go through lots of yarn making toys for kitties. I decided to celebrate the end of the a-z challenge with a giveaway. (Lucy is doing quality control)There are 2 chicken legs and 2 donuts (my newest creation). The photo only shows one donut though.
And for my ROAR, I am donating a bunch of crocheted catnip toys for my favorite shelter, PAL (http://people4animals.org/ ) to sell.
Mom and I love it and we hope you do too. Thank you Thomas!!!!
My Grammie came over and watched us while Mom and Dad went to a rehearsal dinner. Have you ever heard of needing to rehearse having dinner? Us kitties don’t need to rehearse. I love my Grammie so very much and not just because she gives us lots of treats.
Tonight we are having a different cat sitter, Mom’s friend. She watched us once before and I don’t recall her handing out treats -PHOOEY!!!! Mom bought us a bag of Ocean fish Party Mix and she best be giving us some or we may have to gang up on her.
Here’s my selfie: I borrowed Sammy’s
beret-without asking- I still feeling like being naughty.
I am doing a giveaway- Mom will make a catnip mat with this pretty Spring fabric and there are 2 crocheted catnip chicken legs too. All you need to do is comment- I hope someone tells Ashton, he might want them for his chicken emporium. I will announce the winner on Thursday-comment every day for more chances to win.
Happy Sunday everyone! I really wish I could visit all my kitty friends more often, but mom only lets me write one day a week- phooey. Speaking of mom, I have a little problem with her. She loves Christmas music and singing to it. Mom doesn’t sing well, I heard that when she was in college in the choir, she was asked to just mouth the words. MOL-really. Does anyone know where I can get some kitty sized ear plugs? It is going to be a long Christmas season. I guess dad is deaf because it doesn’t seem to bother him.
Good thing mom can crochet a little better than she can sing. She has been making some items for the T.J.O’Connor Animal Shelter to donate for them to sell at their Pawzaar in December. She said I can take a couple items to giveaway so I figured I would give one away this week and one next week. The winner can choose a gift for their mom or dad and I will even wrap it for you. We have coffee cup cozies, card holders ( with little kitty buttons), hats, pot holders for frying pans and eyeglass holders. She can even whip up a crocheted tie for your dad. All you need to do is comment today through Tuesday and we will announce a winner on Wednesday.
I am wearing the dad’s tie and the cup cozies are Dunkin Donuts pink.
This is the holder for a gift card or credit cards-see the little kitty button on it.
Have a great week everyone! And I am sending as Meow out to my Grammie that I love so much. Mom helped me order your Christmas gift from us kitties- it is going to be Purrfect.
We are hopping so I hope my photo above counts as a selfie:
Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a nice weekend. I have been busy working on this year’s Halloween costumes for the kitties. I love Halloween and have almost as many decorations as I do for Christmas. I don’t know why I decorate though because we never have Trick or Treaters or a party, but at least we enjoy it. This guy gives me a fright every year for the first couple days he is out: Stinky is brave though.
I love to go to the Dollar Tree and get a package of eyeballs for the kitties to play with. There are 12 in a package so that is under 10 cents a piece- you aren’t going to find any cat toys at the pet store that cheap. Plus I think it is a hoot watching them bat eyeballs around and they all seem to enjoy them too.
I know I just had a giveaway, but I thought I would do another one with some eyeballs- the Dollar Tree kind and a couple crocheted ones that I crocheted ( catnip included).
Some of my cats are not as cooperative as others with the costumes , here is Polar Bear with his 2 wives, Tallulah and Noel .The first person to guess what they are supposed to be wins the eyeballs.Sorry this is for US readers only because it would cost me way more to ship than the actual cost of the prize.
And the winner of this weekend’s giveaway for breast cancer awareness is: Marty the Manx-Congratulations!!! I will be emailing you for your address. Thanks to everyone who commented, I truly appreciate your participation.
